】每年9月的第三个星期六被定为“国际小熊猫日”。小熊猫在中国主要分布于西藏（喜马拉雅山南坡）、云南、四川等省。过去50年，由于栖息地大规模减少以及人类狩猎活动的影响，该物种的种群数量减少了40%。小熊猫已被列入《濒临绝种野生动植物国际贸易公约》（CITES）附录Ⅰ、国家二级保护动物及《世界自然保护联盟濒危物种红色名录》。International Red Panda Day is celebrated on the third Saturday of September each year. Classified as endangered on the IUCN Red List, there are fewer than 10,000 red pandas living in the wild with the largest threats listed as poaching and loss of habitat.
