But a video obtained by the Global Times shows several officers surrounded by a group of protesters inside a garage near Kwai Chung police station。 Protesters threw umbrellas， bottles and other items at the officer， putting his life in danger。
昨晚，有示威者以“声援被捕人士”为幌子围攻葵涌、天水围警署，期间示威者不断向防暴警员投掷杂物，甚至有警员被殴打。

对此，香港警方今日（31日）发表声明，强烈谴责葵涌、天水围一带的暴力行为，强调会调查所有非法和暴力行为，并重申警队有能力和决心维护社会安宁，绝不姑息任何暴力行为。
